An office memorandum from the Budget Division of the Department of Economic Affairs under the Indian Ministry of Finance has declared that government employees availing of computer purchase advances in the fiscal year 2023-24 (April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024) will be subject to an annual interest rate of 9.1%.

Subject: Advances to Government Servants – Rate of interest for purchase of Computer during 2023-24.
The undersigned is directed to state that the rate of interest for advance sanctioned to the Government servants for purchase of computer during 2023-24 i.e. from 1st April, 2023 to 31st March, 2024 is as under:
